AKMEŅKALIS is an individual master stonemason from Straupe, Cēsis region. With over 30 years of experience in stone processing, the company specializes in high-quality natural stone products, monument manufacturing and engraving. The workshop offers an individual approach to each project, combining tradition, artistic execution and precision.

We offer a wide range of stone processing services: manufacturing of tombstones, granite and boulder elements, fountains, borders, benches, window sills, sculptural works and other individual stone projects. We use both Latvian boulder stone and high-quality granite from Finland and Sweden. We install monuments in cemeteries throughout Latvia and provide professional advice on all work.

LTD "Akmens lietas" it is 2011. a company founded in 2011, which brings together experienced stone processing masters. Taking into account the long-term work experience of the masters, SIA "Akmens lietas" it is possible to perform works of various degrees of complexity related to stone processing, i.e:

LTD "Akmens lietas" masters improve and develop their knowledge and skills at various international exhibitions, as well as receive individual training from foreign stone processing masters. LTD "Akmens lietas" mainly works with Latvian boulder stone, Swedish, Finnish, Karelian granite. According to customer wishes, granite materials from exotic countries, such as Africa, are possible. "Mobilās terases" is a family-owned company in Latvia with many years of experience as woodworking specialists in terrace construction, which currently also specializes in the production and assembly of high-quality pergolas and awning kits and fasteners.
Small-sized terraces are manufactured by the company as fully finished, ready-made products. For larger terraces, prefabricated terrace construction frames are used and are installed on site at the customer's premises upon completion of the terrace. The production process takes place in the workshop, which allows us to provide higher quality, faster turnaround times and lower costs compared to traditional on-site terrace construction.
Over time, we expanded our expertise to include pergolas and patio awnings. To make installation easier and more efficient, we started producing modular steel fasteners for quick assembly.
Now we are constantly improving our products and have discovered new ways to use our fasteners not only for pergolas, but also for awnings. We have patented some of our fasteners, specially designed for awnings.

Višķi craftsmen offer visitors a route through the village, which includes the opportunity to spend their free time in an interesting way. Guests have the opportunity to learn about the history of Višķi, visit workshops of ceramics, wickerwork, burnt wood, and garden sculpture, and participate in craftsman master classes. Valdis Grebežs works in the village - a master craftsman in ceramics, who mainly works with the creation of spatial ceramic panels, but he works not only with clay, but also with wood, glass, aerated concrete, wicker and stone. The master regularly participates in various national, regional and international exhibitions. It is possible to purchase products from local needlewomen and craftsmen. Advance registration required.
